National Park of Jacques-Cartier

National Park of Jacques-Cartier is just 30 minutes from Québec City, you’ll fall under the spell of a vast mountainous plateau cut by deep valleys. Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier is host to one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in Québec, the spectacular Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier. The Jacques Cartier River, calm in some places and turbulent in others, has sliced a 550-metre-deep channel into the plateau. A coniferous forest dominates the high plateaus, and deciduous trees people the deep valleys. Here, nature is both inspiring and serene.

Sainte‑Anne Canyon.

Sainte‑Anne Canyon is a majestic natural attraction that’s accessible to everyone. The trail system runs along both sides of the canyon and across three suspension bridges for a commanding view of the rock faces, the rushing Sainte‑Anne‑du‑Nord River below, and the mighty falls as they plummet a full 74 m (243 ft.). Adventure-seekers will love the site’s added thrills and challenges, like the longest Air Canyon-style zipline in Canada and the via ferrata cable trail. Both stay open through the winter, offering adrenaline rushes the whole year through.

The Montmorency Falls Park

The Montmorency Falls Park is a few minutes from Québec City. Located between the river and the cliffs, it’s one of the province’s most spectacular sites. With its 83 meters high (30 meters higher than Niagara Falls), Montmorency Falls dominates the landscape. It can be discovered on foot, by cable car, or from the gourmet restaurant. It’s an ideal setting for a stroll after a business meeting or a reception.
